Network crosslink map
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This is the canonical map of the Shrinkopedia deep pages each Shrink Network sister site should link back to. It's meant to be pulled from by each sister site's editorial workflow, so the reciprocity ask is the same no matter which site is being edited.
Total targets across 13 sister sites: 55
(33 high priority). Every URL listed is verified to exist
in Shrinkopedia's sitemap. The counterpart script,
audit-network-inbound.mjs, checks whether each sister
site actually links back to any of these URLs.
How to use this map
- Pick your sister site's section below.
- For each target, look at the from-context field and identify the page(s) on your sister site that should carry the link.
- Add a contextual link in body text (not just nav or footer) with the UTM template shown next to each target.
- Verify the URL is sitemap-exact on Shrinkopedia (all URLs listed here are, but re-verify if you're editing months after publication).
- Ship, and re-run the inbound audit to confirm the link is registering.
Rules
- Contextual, not decorative. Body text inside an editorial paragraph, not a footer widget or a nav item. Footer-only reciprocity doesn't move Google's discovery signal.
- UTM every link. Template:
?utm_source={sister_site}&utm_medium=network_journey&utm_campaign={topic}. UTM is how the network measures crosslink flow. - Sitemap-exact. Never link to a Shrinkopedia URL that isn't in the sitemap. If a URL 404s, the link hurts more than it helps.
- No referral pipe framing. A crosslink is editorial, not a recommendation to seek care at any specific practice. Never tie a network crosslink to a paid referral.
- Update this map when Shrinkopedia's URL structure changes. The map is source of truth; sister sites read from it, not from memory.

https://shrinkopedia.com/?utm_source=shariqrefai&utm_medium=network_journey&utm_campaign=home
Recurring audit
Run node scripts/audit-network-inbound.mjs to get a
current snapshot of which sister sites actually link back, and
node scripts/audit-network-inbound.mjs --deep to sample
each sister site's sitemap for deep inbound links. The report tiers
each site as BROKEN, FOOTER-ONLY, MINIMAL, PARTIAL, or STRONG. The
goal is every sister site at PARTIAL or STRONG.
