User content terms
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Shrinkopedia doesn't currently accept comments, reviews, forum posts, quiz submissions tied to your identity, or other user-generated content. These terms are published in advance so that the ground rules are clear if and when we ever do.
Your responsibility
If you submit any content to Shrinkopedia in the future, you confirm that you have the right to share it, that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights, and that it complies with our community guidelines and our terms of use.
License you grant us
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant shrinkMD Publishing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt for accessibility or length, and distribute that content as part of Shrinkopedia, and to retain it as needed for moderation, legal compliance, and backups. This license isn't exclusive and doesn't transfer ownership.
What we don't want
Please don't submit personal or medical information about other people without their consent, medical advice directed at other readers, content that promotes self-harm or eating-disorder behaviors, spam, promotional links, or anything illegal.
Moderation and removal
We may remove, edit, or hide submitted content for any reason, including failure to follow these terms or our community guidelines. You can ask us to remove your own content at any time by writing to [email protected]. Some material may remain in backups or logs for a reasonable period.
No clinician-patient relationship
Submitting content to Shrinkopedia, and any response or moderation we do, never creates a clinician-patient relationship. Nothing posted by readers or by us is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. For care, please consult a licensed clinician. If you're in crisis, see our crisis resources.
Changes
We may update these terms as features change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
